“Take Back Alberta” starts to trend. Headed by people like David Parker (shareholder in the right-wing news site ‘The Western Standard’), the group claims to be responsible for the removal of Jason Kenney as UCP leader (who once described the group as lunatics in 2022).
At least nine UCP members are alleged to be TBA members, including the recently ousted Torry Tanner. They are also alleged to have taken over many lower level constituency boards.
