Town of Hinton declares “Local Health Care Crisis” over lack of doctors.

The town council is considering pitching in a half-million dollars per year to try to help the situation

Health care falls under the Provincial Government’s authority; however, the Town of Hinton has seen the need locally.

A week after this announcement, notices posted on the ER indicate the situation has not materially improved.
