The Premier gets paid $186,180, meaning she’s in the 96% percentile of Alberta wage earners. The most basic of MPs gets $120,936 (90+ percentile). For all other Albertans, $170 hockey tickets cost $170 of their own money, and that’s considered an acceptable way for them to show their support of the sport.
