The campaigns end up totalling at least $116,800 of taxpayer money
The UCP government has funded very few independent media outlets – the only other one currently known is The Western Standard, run by former UCP MLA and grumpy child-chaser Derek Fildebrandt.
This information came to light over a year later in a FOIP request return.

Counter Signal is run by Keeane Bexte, a somewhat controversial figure. His history includes allegedly selling merchandise for a white nationalist website, and faking his own arrest on a few occasions while being escorted from press conferences.
