Danielle Smith registers as a lobbyist for the Alberta Enterprise Group (of which she was president). The group is an association of ~100 companies, including many oil companies. At the time Smith held many meetings regarding “RStar”, a program she pushed through when elected.
A full rollout of the RStar program is forecast to cost Albertans billions. CNRL (chaired by billionaire Murray Edwards) is a long-time member of AEG.
