The Globe and Mail reports that no “bottom” surgeries are performed on minors anywhere in Canada. The number of “top” surgeries (which includes cis-female breast reduction or augmentation, reconstruction due to cancer surgery, and other basic medical procedures), in 2022 and 2023 was 26 and 23 respectively. (Alberta Health does not track gender-identity surgeries separately).
