Whooping cough, tetanus, diptheria, flu and covid affected.

Per an Alberta Health memo obtained by CBC, “At this time, Alberta Health has not been successful in contracting a distributor to ship vaccines to community medical and nurse practitioner clinics”

CBC contacted Accuristix, the company that had previously distributed vaccines, and was told “Our contract was not renewed, but we’d be pleased to help AHS with the physician distribution and hope to hear from them”

When asked specifically about family doctors lacking vaccines, Adriana LaGrange appears to have misspoken in blaming the federal government rather than Alberta Health.

Exactly how Alberta Health failed to renew a contract with a company that wants the work was not explained.
