PCCM promised to doctors Real Soon Now
The PCCM is a new, modernized model that will provide family physicians and rural generalists who primarily practice in clinics and are currently paid through fee-for-service, or other compensation models, with a new compensation option.
Dr. Parks was president of the Alberta Medical Association at the time. He would later tweet:

Premier Smith lied again.
Back in March, Smith claimed the new family doctor compensation model was "weeks" away from implementation, and that the new April 2024 budget had "set aside sufficient dollars".
